About The Program

The United Way of Pinal County Skilled Workforce Program helps students access the financial support they need to complete accredited degrees and industry-recognized certifications that lead to stable, high-demand careers. Before applying, please review the requirements below. Only complete applications will be reviewed and considered.

By offering direct financial assistance and access to a required Financial Wellness Workshop, the program equips you with the funding and tools needed to successfully complete your education. Backed by United Way of Pinal County, this support is designed to help you focus on your training, build confidence, and move toward a stable, in-demand career.

Application Requirements

Information Needed

Be prepared to provide:

  • The degree or certification you are pursuing
  • School name and address (school must be accredited)
  • Your anticipated completion/graduation date
  • The amount of financial assistance you are requesting
  • An understanding that you must complete the Financial Wellness workshop before funding will be issued

Documents & Video Needed for Upload

You will be required to upload:

  • An official tuition bill or invoice
  • A video (60 seconds or less) explaining what this opportunity would mean for you
  • Two written references (not from family or friends)
  • Your most recent tax return (Form 1040)
